{"id":4204,"date":"2026-09-14T15:46:45","date_gmt":"2026-09-14T15:46:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thekalingasamachar.com\/?p=4204"},"modified":"2026-09-14T15:46:45","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T15:46:45","slug":"omfed-to-diversify-product-portfolio-with-packaged-water-new-ice-cream-range","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thekalingasamachar.com\/?p=4204","title":{"rendered":"OMFED To Diversify Product Portfolio With Packaged Water, New Ice Cream Range"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Bhubaneswar:<\/strong> The Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers\u2019 Federation (OMFED) is planning to diversify its product portfolio by introducing packaged drinking water and a revamped range of ice creams in different flavours, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Minister Gokulananda Mallik said on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposed products are currently under discussion with the OMFED board and will be launched in the market after receiving its approval, Mallik said while speaking to the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minister said the move is aimed at expanding OMFED\u2019s product portfolio and introducing new offerings for consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mallik also spoke about the quality of OMFED milk amid reports of adulteration involving milk, chhena (cottage cheese) and paneer in different parts of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said OMFED follows strict quality-control measures and its milk undergoes a three-tier checking process before being supplied to consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cParameters such as fat content are checked to ensure quality.
